during his time as a member of ball state’s media team, marc has been a backbone of the university’s efforts to bring national attention to faculty research, student achievements, and campus life.

his ability to unearth stories in nearly every college and department has resulted in highly visible placements in many prestigious news outlets, including abc radio network, cbs news, discovery channel, the huffington post, the new york times, scientific american and its website, time, usa today, and the wall street journal, among others.

after an award-winning career as a newspaper journalist in indiana and ohio, marc joined the university in 1990, quickly establishing himself as a solid storyteller by crafting persuasive messages to enhance strategic communications.

he collaborates with units across campus, including the miller college of business, college of sciences and humanities, and the college of communication, information, and media, as well as the human performance laboratory.
