For All New On-Campus, Online, and International Graduate Students

As soon as you receive your Ball State username and password, you can log into our Online Orientation for Graduate Students.

You will be able to track your progress as you work your way through the orientation modules, such as how to register for courses or find your advisor. It’s full of information that you can always revisit when you need it—24/7.

The orientation is mobile friendly and will give you the information you need to start your classes with confidence.

The Graduate School will hold our Fall 2020 Orientation for new Graduate Students on Wednesday, August 19th and Thursday, August 20th, 2020. Each session will be exactly the same, so you will only want to attend one. You can register for the upcoming orientation here

Orientation will include remarks by Dean Adam Beach, Associate Dean Stephanie Simon-Dack, and Faculty Fellow Robin Phelps-Ward. It will also include breakout sessions hosted by the Graduate Student Wellness Initiative (GSWI).

International Students

The University’s International Student Services office offers a separate, mandatory orientation for international students.

International students are also invited to participate in the Pre-arrival orientation and attend the orientation reception and resource fair.
